Truly an amazing creature living such a short and colorful life. Sending love and warm greetings from Missouri.

It is disheartening that the government doesn't recognize (or care, seemingly) about its environment. It is greed that destroys our planet. And yes, it's the same thing in the US, when we let our environment be polluted and greed for oil destroys land.

Mantids have a similar lifespan, they are born in spring and after laying eggs in the fall, the freeze kills them, but the eggs survive,of course they can live a bit longer in captivity, but typically only a couple of months.

We need to protect these forests from corporate raiders. There is no option for the earth, and all of her inhabitants, to survive if humans keep destroying what is left.

Half of the rainforest destroyed? Was it used for the locals benefit of eating and living here?

Much better for the Earth to save the rainforest and have the "locals" move their destructive asses out of there. They're like a cancer that destroys the life it's living on.

listen to them moan about the automobile journey as if they aren’t a bunch of grown up boys playing with toys.
