I first watched one of your videos in 2015 while I was travelling the US and trying to learn English. I had no idea about anything related to Mexican culture and then got randomnly invited to a bbq by a Mexican family because I accidentally landed in their neighborhood in LA and they were impressed with my (Cuban) Spanish :) I ended up staying there for longer. One of their sons became a good friend and he showed me these videos. I used to watch your videos each time I started missing my days in the US - my favourites being the cholo adventures. Oh what nice memories ❤ I wish your beautiful girlfriend, your sons and your whole family a successful and happy 2023!

Obviously I am not Eric, but I would say (from personal experience) that it would be better to do it sooner rather than later. I tolerated a lot of horseshit from my ex and I wound up homeless after I got really sick and she left me. I allowed myself to be blindsided. Don't let that happen to you.

A question I have for new fathers I'm gonna be a dad to a little girl in a couple months, first kid, I've been around kids my whole life, siblings, nieces, nephew, but the thought of my own daughter terrifies me, i feel like I'm not prepared, like Im not gonna be able to be the dad I want to be, it sounds like a ridiculous question, but is it normal to be afraid of your own kid? Terrified at the thought of being dad?

its very normal; kinda have to think about it this way: your life is changing in a significant way in a very short time frame and now its no longer just about you living your life but now having an entire new person be fully dependent on you for literally everything! its different when its family because subconsciously you dont have to worry about keeping this little human alive and only "really" have to provide 110% to nobody except yourself then. its a lot to try and rationalize at once because its a brand new experience that can begin at any time and change everything! just always remind yourself that youre gonna be okay and most importantly that once your baby is born and you see/hold her for the first time its most likely gonna be the biggest relief just being able to finally meet this person you helped literally create. so many of the "irrational" thoughts and scenarios you think about now will slowly fade into the background because youre finally able to see and truly know deep down that she's safe with you! this is a lot more common than people talk about and happens on both sides of the relationship; sometimes opening up to your partner about your worries and getting that reassurance from someone in the same boat as you helps more than you may realize. you got this man
