i personally think ESB is the perfect movie, the storyline, the characters, the surprises, not to mention the really amazing special effects. from end to end, it was a thrilling and enjoyable feelings all the way. carrie fisher is at her cuetest and gorgeous part in this movie.

Still the best in the original Star Wars Trilogy, this ranks amongst one of the few sequels that outdid the original. Irwin Kershner who directed this movie had been Lucas's film teacher and had been asked by Lucas to take over directing duties for him.

Sorry for all the comments, but I make them as I think of them. I always wondered why they had Carrie go all the way to Norway. All of her scenes were filmed on the sound stage. I mean, I'm sure she liked it, but I thought it was an unnecessary expense

Because george lucas can... Thats the reason... sorry,j/k. Or maybe there was some scene that shoot but scrapped in editing room. Also I think it's still great to have Her around as some sort of appreciation of what they've done in the movie before with strict and limited budget
