Even now, this film speaks to many of us on a deep level. Not the blood, guts and gore. Not the greed and sheer evil that results when such is given free reign. No, what resonates with audiences is Murphy's journey. He literally loses everything and comes back. I still get chills when I watch the ending. 'Nice shooting son, what is your name?" 'Murphy.'

This film has a very profound "between the lines" reading. It talks about the place of a human soul, in a violent, stupid and mechanized society. This human soul that is not corruptible.

I don't know why there is such hate toward Bob Morton. He's the creator of Robocop! I felt sorry for him when he got killed.

I don't think there was hate. I didn't hate him. But he clearly wasn't a likable character and his death was predictable. What's funny is that he was the only one not smart enough to recognize that he was messing with the wrong person while dealing with Dick Jones.

La clásica es mejor para mi la nueva, es una película futurista por lo que siento que entre más nuevo sea el equipo de producción mejor van a ir siendo como toda película clásica se sienten mejor las nuevas

Aunque la nueva no lleno las expectativas y eso incluye que aunque fue más actual los efectos no fueron grandiosos ni la historia y actuaciones medias. No sé compara incluso aunque la de 87 fue de bajo presupuesto pero con una maravillosa dirección, actuaciones atinadas y efectos pues gallardos para el tiempo. Una película de culto
