Must add the Stubby! 5/16 x1-3/4 flat head! its bigger and much easier for the screws on camera and other bits! Never go to set without it! I also think adding a camera cover, space blanket something to cover the camera when you go to lunch or in case of bad weather!

Good call on the cover! I thought the stubby was in there at 5:40 or is there a different one? Send me a link and I’ll add it! Thanks for watching!

For a screwdriver, a LTT screwdriver will go a long way because of the long thinner shaft and the precise rachet mechanism

Great video, where do most new ac’s look for jobs? Most KZbin channels don’t cover that aspect.

Hey there, brilliant and informative video!, I just wanted to ask, where do you get the erasers that attach onto the end of your Expo pens? I've looked long and far but can't find where they are / what they are called

Thanks appreciate that!/ I believe that we bought them like that... I added a link below to the description (see text below video) to buy.

Never, ever, put any TAPE directly on a media card!. Especially on a CFast card. You will ruin your camera and the card. Yes, tape residue is a thing.
@FilmJamsАй бұрын
No you won’t. Use paper tape like we mention. Have been putting paper tape on cards for 15 years and never had a camera or a card go bad.

NO !!!!!!!! Why have you got studio monitors that are not designed to be placed sideways, placed sideways. Those yams are upright only your really wasting the sound quality 😳😳😳
@FilmJams2 жыл бұрын
Hi there! Thanks for the comment. Vertical placement can help with the stereo sound field, but as with anything, I always recommend testing to see what works best for you. I've had my HS8's both vertical and sideways, and sideways is how they work best for me. When I have them vertical, the tweeters are too high and also block my TV. As it states in the Yamaha HS8 manual: "Position the tweeters at ear height. High frequencies are quite directional, so for the most accurate monitoring the speakers should be set up so that the tweeters are at approximately the same height as your ears when you’re seated at the listening position." And when I have them horizontal - this is how they sound best to me. I also have 2 other sets of monitors in my studio that I can A/B, so luckily not putting all our chickens in one basket there....But I appreciate you noticing that :) Have a good one and thanks for stopping by the channel!
@thepropolys2 жыл бұрын
@@FilmJams Agreed, I place my desktop monitors sideways and find the difference in sound is negligible or better (all other things being equal).

@@thepropolys Hi Andrew! Right on...thanks for mentioning that and stopping by the channel. Have a good one!

Holy shit,man. Please, for the love of God, tone down the humor. You’re a very knowledgeable guy/channel, with great advice….but it’s overkill with the goofiness. Your expression and tone keeps reminding me of the child snatcher from Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. Comes across more creepy than funny. Just being honest.
