Once I ran into him at a park, while he was on the phone. I didn’t notice so I waved and said hey! He literally finished his conversation, hung up and came over to talk for like 20 minutes. Such a cool dude!

This is exactly the sorts of interviews with directors I want to see. A conversation between the two that feels like two people having a conversation, it's not fake at all, and is transparent about behind the scenes topics you don't normally hear filmmakers talk about on press junkets.

It was a really chill setting at Lucasfilm in Presidio. He was standing next to a red storm trooper. No one else for press was there so no rush to answer questions

Scouring all these interview for any mention of a Nirvanna the band continuation/release, Matt just seems so up to talk about anything. A lot of interviewees seem like it's the last place they want to be so it's nice to see someone actually want to talk.
