Mike wired the battery of the homing device to his radio, so the battery would run down (instead of abruptly disconnecting) and whoever planted it would come to replace the battery when the device reported a low battery condition.
@calumjohnston53439 ай бұрын
he also bought another and switched the drained one (theirs) with his own thats why he can track it
@SpectrumAnalysis9 ай бұрын
Here's Mike's plan, as I understand it. He wired the battery in the tracker to a portable radio without disconnecting it. This way it would keep transmitting without switching off and drawing attention but the battery would run low faster. Once they realised the battery had run down, they'd come and replace it, taking it out and replacing it with a new tracker, or taking it away to be fixed. Either way, they take the tracker with them. What Mike did, was keep the real tracker in his house, but put an exact copy he bought in his own car, that way when they take it, he can track them. DO NOT mess with Mike. He is too smart.

This show is so underrated. Even the way they have edited "Future Jimmy" into the seasons is something I have never seen before in another show, it's very unique. Granted, not many shows have a prequel to an Amazing show like Breaking Bad to draw from. On another note, Kim is so intelligent and so kind, it's heart breaking to see the SIZE of the blind spot she has for Jimmy. Any sensible person would have stayed away from a guy who constantly and gladly breaks the law, and much less would have quit the job for which they worked so hard and then put their entire career in the hands of a person like that. By choosing such a lovable character, the writers are torturing us for fun.
@lordmelvin9310 Жыл бұрын
no shot you're calling it underrated when it's universally praised by nearly everyone who's seen it
@amacuro Жыл бұрын
I didn't say it was overrated among the people who have seen it. It was you who said that. I meant among the general public. Very few of my acquaintances have watched Breaking Bad. My best friend hasn't, he watched the first episode and decided that it wasn't for him. My point was that this show is so awesome that it's amazing how little % of people have watched it!@@lordmelvin9310

I don't want to contradict anything you said but imo Kim doesn't have a blind spot for Jimmy but who he is, is exactly why she kept being attracted to him. He gave her what she tried to denied herself for all her life... She had fun.

The scene with Jimmy and Chuck at the start is so sad. Jimmy is at a point, where he doesn't even care about proving himself as a good lawyer to Chuck. He just goes down memory lane, and tries to remember the happy times, when they were real brothers, doing brotherly things. I hate the fact that the roles have turned so much, that Chuck right now is at his most cunning and scheming that he has ever been, while after the accident, Jimmy is just about the most caring and vulnerable he has ever been. Another thing of note is that not only in the scene where Jimmy lashes out at the army guy, but in many future scenes, Jimmy has this habit of blowing up at the wrong people. He will yell and say things to people, while that anger and complaining was meant for someone else.

Im loving your reactions man! I Cant wait till you get further in with this show, I absolutely adore it, I'd say its my favourite piece of media ever. On the whole Chuck and Jimmy dynamic, its so goddamn good, but I gotta say, one of the brilliant things this show does is that while it makes us sympathise with Jimmy as our protagonist and feel animosity towards Chuck, likewise the show also plays with our own known expectations and information on Jimmy where most of the time we'll see his actions always through some angle or scheme behind them, while he really IS a criminal and a scumbag (especially later in his life) there is a geunine heart behind him that never is given a chance to flourish, basically we get a bit of a similar PoV on him as Chuck. That being said, I never get tired of bringing up the fact that Chuck's "Sanctity of the law" spiel, while something he DOES care about, is nothing more than his own version of Walts "I do what I do for my family", at the end of the day the reality is he has a despises any world in which Jimmy is allowed to exist as his peer, and not someone below him, and despite how different they are on the surface as the show goes on you also realize how alike they both are, Chuck's manipulation of Jimmy's emotions and the whole con he constructed to get him is straight out of Jimmy's book... he has no doubt Jimmy loves and cares for him despite it all, and he was willing to use that against him. For all of Jimmy's flaws, he had proven himself to Chuck multiple times through the show, even after doing some of the worst shit, like the number swapping, but none of that will ever count for Chuck because their relationship dynamic is too settled and set on its ways, and currently is completely imploding.

I couldn't find any info on the cameras used for season 3 unfortunately. But Season 4 uses the Red Epic Weapon as the primary shooter with Angenieux Optimo Lenses. Listed as "some shots" and not under any specific season is a Panasonic Varicam 35 and Red Weapon 8k S35. Season 5-6 go large format with the Arri Alexa LF and Mini LF with Panaspeed lenses, and a Panasonic GH4 for novel shots. For some night shots l believe they've used those weird light boxes that are held above in a couple things. But they also wanted to and did do a lot of natural lit outdoor night scenes. I swear I heard they used a Sony camera that was specifically really good for low light in some stuff, but I can't find anything. If I remember correctly the camera I'm thinking of was like a 2k large sensor camera that Sony had.

Jimmy actually hurt this man, which sounds comical considering he's an Air Force captain. I suspect the scene was written to be comical because that's the way minor one (or two) off character scenes with Jimmy go. But oh dear it wasn't.
