Countless times I have watched this series and near the end of this episode, I know how it will play out and I just hope that it’s different every time. I will never experience another show like breaking bad. The best to ever do it.

I think this same thing with the series in general everytime I watch it. Especially when it comes to Walt and Jessie's relationship. In the beginning its so nice and it makes you smile. I always find myself thinking "why couldn't it stay like this between them?" But I don't mean it in the way that I want the show to be different, because I recognize the show would nit be nearly as good if it wasn't written the alway it is written. It's more because the characters are real. They are so intricately written and fleshed out that they feel like real people. I think there's a part of me that thinks of them as being real people not just characters in a show like I do with many other TV shows and movies. Idk if that makes any sense or not haha

Even thought the end of the episode pulled the rug out from under us, Hank needed that moment of victory. Hank and Jesse together, managed to outsmart and bring Walt to justice for a minute. But as Jesse said, Mr. White has the devils own luck. As for Todd, he is a fascinating dark parallel to Jesse. An incredibly accurate portrayal of a psychopath. He is clearly the result of being raised by his uncle and the gang. Jesse acts tough, but he just can't hide the fact that he cares. Todd acts sweet and like he cares, while barely hiding that he doesn't feel anything. And Walt mentored both. Also, they just kinda forgot Huell.

I like that phrasing because in this case clearly Walt DOESN'T want to be this "lucky." He only called Jack when he thought it was Jesse, then when he realized it was Hank, he immediately called it off and ordered Jack not to come. Walt is lucky even when being lucky itself brings misfortune and chaos. His luck is a curse.

The end of this episode is truly insane. Once Walt is cuffed and all seems well only for Jack and his crew arrive and it cuts to black before we know exactly what happened to Hank, Gomez or anybody. And Jesse is prepared to get out of there. They came because Walt didn’t tell them police were there. Perhaps that would have convinced them not to come. Great reaction James, this is such an amazing episode and the last three episodes are even better. Take care man!

Fun fact, idk if y’all know this but Jesse was supposed to be killed off at the end of the season 1, but the creator Vince saw the chemistry between Bryan and Aaron so he kept Jesse going into the later season

When it comes to Walt's morality, I completely trust him when he made a choice. When it came to letting Jane die, he did it for Jessie and for his own gain. When it came to poisoning Brock, he never wanted to kill him just like he never wanted to kill Jessie himself. If he was truly heartless, Brock would have been dead and Jessie would have died a long time ago. His reign as Heisenberg was his own lab.

Todd is a well played psychopath (or sociopath, maybe). He doesn't understand how it feels to be a typical person because he completely lacks empathy. He acts like he does because he's pretending to be a typical person having learned rules to do so. He's not rabid. He's not frothing at the mouth. He just has a set of rules he operates under and if he has to kill a kid or do something we would consider inordinately cruel, he just does it. He's more impacted by how such an action might affect the role he's trying to play than he is by any empathy we would actually feel in his place.

Yeah, Ozymandius as read by Walter White is a great way to open next episode. It was a teaser ad on AMC they ran all the time during that year we waited between half seasons. But the wait between this episode and the following week seemed even longer.
