This is Dancing Goblin, by Jay Wilbur and his Orchestra, issued on Dominion A-165. It was never actually issued on Filmophone, as far as I know, which makes this trial record very interesting. It was composed by Walter Collins, not Jay Wilbur.

@@MikeThomas78 Thanks very much! Don’t get much shared info! At least my guess that this was Jay Wilbur sounding was right. The other side has the same title but different song.The early Filmophone recordings were supposed to be by a different bandleader, but this trial recording isn’t. I know this song well as I have a few versions but they are hidden in my collection. The information passed on by KZbin and some collectors is sometimes weak and contradictory. A picture of Harry Fay is all over KZbin but it isn’t nothing like him.
