For an old guy and newbie to video editing, can you explain why you cut an image a lot on the time line. Thank you.
@Daniel_Batal4 жыл бұрын
Different reasons. In this case I sliced the footage to isolate where I wanted to apply an effect without it affecting the other portions of that video. Often it’s just to edit out what doesn’t need to be in the video. Learning to trim the fat from your content is one of the most important things a Creator can learn. It’s also about creating continuity. Watch a movie and count how many times the camera angle changes or it jumps to an alternate view. Every one of those is a cut

Love this effect! Actually gonna use it in my upcoming video, Thanks for this! I have a question, is there a way in F9 to have a video play in black and white except for a certain subject being the only thing in color? I know it's popular in still photos but can it be done in motion? Thanks in advance! Take Care!

Not easily. This an extremely advanced technique requiring intelligent masking and key framing which are not currently available in Filmora9. Check out Adobe Premiere Pro if that’s something you need for your project

@@Daniel_Batal Ok ya i figured it'd be a bit advanced for F9. I'll check out Premier Pro and see if it's worth putting in the time for the short clips I'd be using in my video. Thanks again Daniel!

Daniel filmora 9 or filmora pro which one is the best for editing and what is difference between these two
@Daniel_Batal4 жыл бұрын
Filmora9 is a fast workflow, ease of use software with a lot of pre-built effects and transitions. FilmoraPro is a steeper learning curve which has more detailed controls and much fewer shortcut style features
