The Rachel Runyan case is far and away the worst thing in this entire series. It's the story that stands out the most. There's a lake of fire waiting for the people responsible and I hope their lives were hellish along the way.

Wow, this was a brutal episode. 😭 I hope the monster that murdered that beautiful child ended up in prison and beat every single day. And thank God those two evil boys got a deserving sentence and will never get out of their cages.

Poor little angel Rachel. I'm in tears as I type this. Her kidnapping and murder is already horrible. But to use her in a snuff film is a frightening level of evil is very scary and the sick. The sad thing about the swindler is that the red flags were already showing. It's obvious that he picked random names out of the phone book and used social engineering to lure them in

I feel terrible for Mr. Harding’s mother after the abduction of her baby, but I’ve always wondered why she didn’t just take the baby inside the house BEFORE bringing in the groceries. Sad how such seemingly insignificant decisions like that can have such long-lasting consequences.

Things has never been "Very" safe ever. To be your age and think that is irresponsible, gullible and Very naive. The world has always been infested by wolves in sheep's clothing. You never truly know who you're interacting with and what is going on in the minds of others. If you willing let your guard down for others then you are at the mercy of others. So many lives have been taken senselessly even in the most peaceful of areas.

As I see old reports of cases I wish they could do whatever they could nowadays with dna to try to solve them. I guess it's down to money, who would pay. I remember Rachel Runyan case. In that area it was uncommon for kidnappings and those kind of crimes, at least, we didn't hear of them like today. Of course dna knowledge wasn't available yet, evidence gathering and investigation procedures have improved so even if older cases were investigated again there might not be usable evidence. I just Googled Rachel's name and questions about the case, came up with an interview with the man who was sheriff at the time. He stated Rachel was found hogtied with parachute cord, and had not been sexually assaulted. The s_ _ _ _ film rumor seems to have come from someone bragging, writing it on a bathroom door which could have been a sick person's idea. If it was true, why would criminals want attention brought to their activities, possible arrest. I hope it wasn't true.

Where was her mother's intuition to begin with? A baby's life ruined because a mother's intuition was broke. And that other woman, how the heck did that guy outfox her? What happened to her intuition? Surely she's way more intelligent than him, so how did he outfox her so easily?
