@@God-Love-Freedom What was not mentioned in Forensic Files was that Joe Snodgrass (the husband) was a TSgt in the local AFOSI (Air Force Office of Special Investigations), the investigating agency, at Clark Air Base. And the investigating officers in charge of his wife's murder were basically his co-workers and superiors. So for him, as far as pulling that stupid ass stunt with the scissors, he didn't really need somebody to give him inside info. He quickly realized his scheme was falling apart once he was called into the office

Here's another tidbit about Joe Snodgrass after his arrest. In late August 1991, two months after Clark Air Base was damaged by Mt. Pinatubo's eruption, Joe tried to escape custody. While he was still locked up at the base jail/brig, he feigned illness to one of the Security Forces airman assigned there and when the airman opened his cell to check up on him, Joe jumped the airman and took the airman's car keys. Once outside, he spent the next few hours trying to get away but because of the ashes surrounding the base because of Mt. Pinatubo's eruption, all the surrounding areas were unrecognizable and he just kept driving all over the base. Once Security Forces captured him, he told his captors to put him back in jail, lol 🤣

These kids are also victims of having a narcissistic parent it's just incredibly sad for the children of these spousal killings. To know people like this exist that someone who claims to love their spouse would cheat on them but also kill them on top of it and take the father or mother of their child is beyond horrifying to me. If you don't go through with doing something evil at the VERY LEAST (there shouldn't have to be a special reason ffs 😖) but have it be that you don't for the well being of a child if you don't have that thing that makes you human a heart a conscience or anything close to a moral compass or good....I think everyone has one people just decide to actively ignore that little voice in the back of their mind that sais I shouldn't do this ITS WRONG. Unless you have some sort of mental condition where you don't have an understanding of right and wrong those people need to be institutionalized for life but most choose to be evil or react in the moment based on emotions. So many preventable murders in general but as a whole we are a selfish race of beings the violence will never end it's been happening since the recording of time so I don't see it ever changing & world peace is not a reality we will ever live in. That's just my take though. JEEZ these people are terrible it's heart breaking these forensic files. Especially the ones involving kids🥺❤️people can be so evil and selfish makes me feel sick to my stomach. I hope the sons doing well now after suffering this horrible trauma and loss.

Women in poor countries will do anything to try and snag a rich foreign man hoping to take them out of poverty. It’s desperation to get out of poverty. You don't say. Doesn't it work with the women and men also in your society if not in housekeeping, to latch onto the rich and famous when they see a chance? It's just human nature. People make the best out of their lives especially when there are opportunities that are not against the law and it meets both parties' needs. Please don't blame the disadvantaged women AND men. The penalty for murder isn't very much if those tried in Philippine court only got seven years. Clark Air Force Base closed in Nov, 1991 or about nine months after this incident. The Filipinos got their wish for the US military to leave but then the jobs went with them. It's interesting how we see those long gone 1980s & 90s items in daily use in this series such as the cars, floppy disks, flip phones (or no cell phones) and other items.

Joseph Snodgrass most likely lied to Lucy about Joshua & Jaime getting tired of their mother. In this video, Joshua doesn't speak like a young man who was getting tired of his mother. Joseph Snodgrass would've said pretty much anything to the housekeeper Lucy to get her to go along with his plot to murder his wife. I'd bet my bottom dollar that the alleged discussion with his children never even happened.

"She passes a polygraph ya know so, the case is in the toilet, rught?" That's the problem with investigators, they rely on a machine that is so faulty its results are not permissible in court and yet they take those results and hang an entire case on its outcome. I know that's not the case here, but it's the point. So many investigations go cold because lazy, inept police clear or convict soley on that.
