The massive scale, the dedication and organization that goes into it, the complexity that goes into what could amount to a few seconds, the digging for information despite being part of production. It's definitely a lot of fun, but also very stressful. Im a special effects technician so my job usually involves pyrotechnics and fabricating stuff like stunt cars. Id say it's 90% no sleep chaos and stress and 10% feeling like a rockstar. Seeing the final product at the end is what makes it all worth it, it's hard to see how every departments role will fit in until your watching it a few years later.

If they make a sequel, Mat should have a cameo as some conspiracy theorist. depending on the time the movie would take place, there could be a podcast run by him that's literally just mat making conspiracy theories about Freddy Fazzbears Pizzaria, everyone would think he's crazy while every theory is 100% correct, but because every one thinks he's crazy the theory's just make the company look better. maybe it could be similar to the guy in the books who was paid to make bad games to make the company look better, but done a bit different, kind of like how the games, books, and movie are all canon but not the same. considering Mat's role in figuring out and spreading the lore so everyone in the community is on the same page, a small role perfect for a cameo but still important to the lore like that one would be perfect for him.

The amount of cheering, yelling and uproar that I heard and participated in when MatPat appeared on the screen in the absolutely crammed theatre was incredible. It truly felt like a shared moment for the community. Everyone was in complete shock. MatPat kept his secret hidden well, and I think the community wouldn't have had it any other way because of how amazing of a reveal it was to see Matthew's appearance live in the moment

So I came back from the movies like 30min ago. My schedule and the cinemas FNAF movie schedule didn't quite sinc so decided to wait until they change their screening hours. Didn't see this video or anything regarding the FNAF movie prior. I gotta say I was surprised and SOHYPED when I saw MatPat in the diner and he said "that's just a theory"

I really hoped the movie was gonna be revolves around Matpat working in the pizzeria. Would have been dope. Imagine it opens up with him being hired for the job, he internally thinks to himself that he heard rumors that the place was haunted but he shrugs it off saying “but hey, that’s just a theory”. he gets the job and all goes bad within the first night, something’s clicks in his brain from an alternative universe (Matpat and the game theorist videos) that tell him that this place holds endless theories and secrets that Matpat must solve in his current universe in order to survive. Sometimes he runs into animatronics and starts chatting to them about theories he’s made and remembered from his alternative universe’s self, and gets attacked midway through saying them. Not going to go all in to detail but then at the end he thinks he clears the night and celebrates. “Nice! I made it through the night I get to live!!!” then all the animatronics show up in front of him and he quietly and horrifyingly mumbles “that’s… just a theory…. A G-“ then gets devoured by the animatronics. would’ve been a cool idea

It’s so sweet that Scott wanted your name in the movie to be an Easter egg for your own channel/brand. And that it’s such an iconic reference is additionally really thoughtful. I was so happy to see you in the film; I’m glad you kept it a secret so that we could have that surprise. The whole time I was watching the film, I could tell how much the people who made it love this franchise and love the fans. It really felt like they wanted to make this for the community. There was a certain level of humility and trust that you often don’t see with adaptations of established IP, and I really appreciated it. You could tell they wanted to do right by the community.
