love the review but the pan and tilt doesn't seem smooth

Thanks! The tripod was pretty fresh at the time and has actually aged well. Still highly recommend the VT-4000 for that price range!

Great vid, very informative. Made me go back and check the specks on mine lol I have the Ravelli AVTP. Same price point as yours, very simillar design, except has two handles, screw bolts to lock the legs, and is pretty heavy without a camera (~10 lbs). The plus is that is supports up to 27 lbs which is great for my Ursa Mini and full shoulder rig with matte box. Just throwing that out there if any of your viewers needs something that can take the weight. Another tip to make the quick release more compatible is I bought a couple of Manfrotto quick release sets and use them to standardize my gear. Now my camera fits the Glidecam, the shoulder rig and the tripod without changing plates. Stuck a plate on the shoulder rig too so it also fits the tripod if I need to run the camera on sticks with the matte box. Keep the vids coming dude!

+El Director Vision Thanks man! Had a blast making this one. I've seen many people purchase other quick release plates like you mentioned. I may do that at some point. I also have a shoulder rig and put my Magnus plate on there to quickly go from tripod to shoulder

I'm actually really happy with my ravelli apgl4. Hasn't got a handle on the head,, yet more of a trigger grip thing. So for £55 quid I'm very happy with it.

+ifell3 I've seen the trigger grip type tripods. They seem interesting especially for photography. Do you use yours mostly for video or photography?

+DAGE THE ONE That one, yes. Yashica M42 mount 50mm with F1.7. I actually shot a short film with it this morning on a Sony FS100... Action series coming soon ;-)

Liked the review, but turned off in the middle because of loud annoying music.
