All of the legal fees of the case had drained his family’s $$ and he was going to be locked up for a long time, so he wanted to make sure they had the means to survive. Sad and tragic situation, brutal and bruising song.

Ha I always remember this song from that episode ‘DPO’ on X Files about the guy who would get hit by lightning then go out and fry people to death that he had a grudge against using his absorbed lightning powers! The intensity of this song matched that episode perfectly ha.

This song is about Bud Dryer, He was a politician that shot himself on tv in 1987. He was found guilty of taking bribes, or kick backs from a company or companies for backing them up. You can see the video of him talking in front of the media, then pulling out a manilla envelope and pulling a pistol out. That's all u can see, but he shot himself in the mouth right after he pulled the gun out. Crazy story bro. But it's a really good song, little disturbing if you listen to the lyrics.

Funny thing about this song, there is a Stabbing Westward song with the exact same riff. The interesting part is that it wasn’t copied and it wasn’t a coincidence. The two bands are from the same community and shared the same guitarist who used the riff twice 😂
