Thank you, these explanations you're giving are very valuable. I didn't understand the "phase shift into steps" trick at first, but I think I do now. The insight is just that the phase shift knob will be in a different position in each instance of the voice stack, and will be causing the steps module to be on a different step. It's just a way of having a bunch of value knobs for the whole stack.

Great content! I noticed you have two things in the FX slot of your Poly Grid, what are they? I'm trying to follow along and replicate and at around the 9:45 mark I'm getting significant attenuation compared to your example.

An EQ and a delay, they are part of my default grid preset. They are turned off however and don't do anything.

@@rumblechannel6343 Ah ok, thanks. I noticed you're using a MIDI controller, and you're hitting lower octaves than I was on my QWERTY, which was causing the low end boost.
