His link up play and off the ball movement is better than Martial's. They are both incredible footballers and Martial is better at the moment for the simple fact that his scoring goals now. But Liverpool without Firmino changes the whole dynamic of the Liverpool system. He's basically the engine of the team. Starts the attack and propels the press which makes him slightly more influential in my book.

You lot should definitely do the top 10 lists positionally in the world. You could combine both fullback positions to make that simpler but I do think you should separate DMs, AMs, and box to box midfielders because 1. unlike the prem only lists there’s an abundance of class players to choose from worldwide which means there should really be no unworthy mentions making the lists (if there are then that’s comedy/content though) and 2. I feel like they’re such vastly different roles that to me comparing what Casemiro and David Silva do just seems non sensical. In defense of Gabriel Jesus, when he's on the pitch for us, nobody can better him in work rate and his ability to press non-stop, and that's the games we use him in. I agree he has been he's been a let down in terms of output but he's showed up in some crucial games for us this season, if you watch him closely in the Real Madrid games you would understand what I mean. He's also a very good player at rotating across the front 3. I think 9 is fair though.
