I appreciate the review. I just bought 180 acres in Ga and need to knock down some vegetation for food plots. This will come in handy.

Thank you for the great review. I just purchased the same sprayer yesterday. It seems it's too close to the ATV. I am thinking of completing a modification that will extend the boom towards the rear and lower it. I will use the unit to spray a large lawn. Based on your experience and use, do you think I would have a problem with my proposed modification? Just watched your first video and noted the recommended height. I also noticed you reference the height when speaking about food plot use. I will only use it on a lawn, so I think lowering will work best for my situation.

When you Put it on put a rubber between tank end frame no break

You could prop the opposite side of the tank to achieve the lower drain

Yeah this could be done and would help.

Looking to get into food plots. Been looking at a 15-16 gal sprayer. Do you think that size would work for spraying two 1/2 acre plots? Thanks!
@NewDayOutdoors Жыл бұрын
Yeah it works great for that. I can spray about 4 acres depending on what I am putting down.

Hi. Thanks for the review. Does the boom spray while folded up? Need for apple orchard. Thanks
@NewDayOutdoors2 жыл бұрын
Yes it does. But out of the vox you cannot isolate sections. For example of you just wanted a narrow spray pattern with the middle bar and the outsides folded up, you cannot shut off the outsides. However you could easily splice in valves to isolate booms.

80 acres? Would you say a 65 gallon would be better suited for that size? Currently debating between getting a 25 gallon for my atv or a 65 gallon for my utv. I have about 45 acres of land surrounding a 30 acre lake.

See my previous reply. I own 80 acres. I do not spray 80 acres with this.

How big of an area can you spray before you run out of liquid?
@NewDayOutdoors2 жыл бұрын
I spray about 4 acres at my house on my lawn before I have to refill. In total my lawn is about 6 acres.

@jimgregory6185 you mean the wand? It is a wand. Pretty simple. You can see it in the version of this video that you actually have to pay to watch. You got to watch a FREE video, so you get what you get, so don't throw a fit.

@@NewDayOutdoors you feel the 25 gallons is sufficient for your 80 acres? Currently Debating between the 25 and 65 gallon.
@NewDayOutdoors2 жыл бұрын
@@gem1n12 I own about 80 acres. I don't spray the entire 80 acres though. Much of my land is farmed. I use this 25 gallon sprayer on my lawn area which is about 5 acres of mowed grass. I also have a food plot adjacent to my house that is about 1 1/2 acres that I use the sprayer for. Then I have a couple smaller food plots ( 1/4 to 1/2 acre) on other properties that I use it for as wel. It is perfect for those uses. I would never use it to try to spray 80 acres. You will want a much larger tank and boom system for that kind of ground coverage.
