I had one, and the lady at the bar asked if I had a tablet in my controller or if I was just happy to see her! hahaha Good to know the tablet mounts in the FIMI. For $50 that is a steal, and then just tether it to your phone for maps. Easy peezy!

I have a ta 8.4 it will not connect, I saw the same charging warning popping up on your tab. How did you get the samsung to connect?

Actually it fits no adaption of any kind ,maybe a 1/2 mm to spare in width

Not unless you buy some sort of mount the 8 inch Samsung just barely fits
