Hi GM, IMO the shimmer in the X8 Tele 30x video is due to thermals, not optics or sensor limitations. My DJI Mavic 3 does 28x that I use to study wildlife without spooking them. If the X8 Tele was supported with either the TX10 or TX10A I would purchase it. BTW, the seamless transition between cameras of the X8 Tele magnifying is very nice. My DJI Mavic 3 can't do that.

@@rpguy4 : Total mystery.. the Mini 3 and the X8 Tele both operate on the new SoLink transmission protocol... and the TX10A operates the X8 Pro and the Tele and the X8 Pro has RokLink 4... ?????

Hi GM, nice comparison of the three drones. My Fimi X8 SE 2022 V2 is a considerably better drone than the X8 SE 2022. I think that the X8 Tele is the X8 SE 2022 V2 with two cameras. Is the voltage and mA the same for both the X8 2022 and the X8 Tele batteries?

@@ssb73q That's interesting, higher voltage for the latest batteries, and a corresponding small increase in Wh. Should be enough for an extra minute and change of flight duration.

Do you have compass issues with your drones? I've got the x8 V2 and it will always warn me about compass interference. It's never caused a flight issue, It's something I'd like to remedy. I've calibrated it many times in open areas without any other structures around. I've even left the transmitter and phone a reasonable distance away +-20 ft during calibration.

Compass interference can happen easily at any time. I have had it while sitting in my car. while having a lot of keys in my pockets, while flying over railway tracks etc.

That's a pretty good assessment. Really close between the Tele & the FM3. Considering the Tele was only $90 more than the FM3... I think I got a steal.
