Abandoned Hotel Stella Canaris, Fuerteventura (4K)

While visiting this beautiful island we were stunned by the size of this abandoned giant hotel complex, formerly known as "Stella Canaris". It's still in very good condition, but entering was not possible - this is where my drone came into the game.

Am staying at a BnB next to this place. Went in there and explored around with friends. It's massive. Best part is the big ass rolls royce V12 diesel generator that's still there.

Necesita 300 millones de euros para ser un 5 estrellas con helipuerto room service gym,supermercado ,discoteca, cafetería,zoológico seguridad 24horas etc siempre fue una bestia llegó a tener más de 3000 camas

I was there in 1998 and 2000 and it's so sad to see my childhood memories deserted. Edit: Does anyone of you that've been in this hotel some diagonal elevators?! I swear to god, I was so mindblown by these things when I was a kid! But I have no idea where they could be in this huge complex. Somewhere around the hillside. I remember they were partially outdoor.

I was here as well in my childhood, the same year, 1998. In December, 1998 to be more specific. I was 10. I've got a whole lot of pics from the trip.

It will cost a ton of money and fuerteventura is heavily overbuilt.

But normally Labranda resort bought in 2017 the hotel... is even announced in the web... so still close ?

It is being pulled down and another complaex built in its place according to the signage outside.
