No. He did his job wonderfully. A 3 year contract designed to coach a team to get 3 of these (Cunningham, Green, Holmgren, Smith, Wembanyama, Thompson). He succeeded and was paid handsomely and now it's just a different coach with different goal. Coach Silas succeeded but can this new coach succeed as well? We'll see.

The Stros proved they could win without anything extra and they didn’t need that. They took the punches and hits and defended the city’s honor by winning a second title. What’s different about this year is that there’s more optimism and excitement in Houston unlike last year because one baseball season ended (championship or not), it was going to be five months of hell as the Rockets and Texans would struggle. Now, even if the Astros’ dynasty begins it end, Houston could add a few more, which could give Houston somewhat of a run like Boston had for 20 years.
