Final Blue Horizons dolphin show at SeaWorld Orlando

After 11 years, Blue Horizons at SeaWorld Orlando comes to an end with an emotional final performance. The show was replaced with Dolphin Days on April 1, 2017.

In Febuary 2009, my family took a trip to Orlando and this was one of our stops. I'm totally blind, and we met a cast member on our way out. We started talking with the lady, and she took me back to meet a whale in the show, named Jozu and a McCall named Cyrano. I am totally blind, so this experience meant the absolute world to me. I bought the Blue Horizon Show soundtrack while there, and was absolutely obsessed with this show. I'm still obsessed with it and am so grateful to the cast members who gave me the experience of a lifetime.

Seeing people whistle and cheer like this is why i love Seaworld so much! The fans truly care! They clearly had a connection to this show like we all did! I will always remember the Horizon! I have swam with a dolphin at Discovery Cove and the whole time Into the Blue was in my head. That moment changed my very being and who i am! So thank you Seaworld, Discovery Cove, and above all, thank you to the dolphin who I swam with! I cried too when I found Blue Horizon to be over....honestly made mr really upset...but Dolphin Days helped me feel a bit better

I believe they ended it due to public outcry because it was too theatrical, similar to what happened with One Oceans. the dolphins are staying, they will still do shows once Dolphin Days opens and they won't loose any interaction or enrichment from trainers.

I mean, the show isn't heavily focused on the dolphins, it has changed a lot, and the latest version was just exercise of the dolphins, unless you want them to just not let them move all day
