Gotta love how the final wishing well reward is an area where you can get a little text blurb from all the developers. And Jeremiah Slaczka mentioned a magic flower hidden in Wilfre’s manor that could revive the Mayor. And another developer warned you not to listen to Jeremiah’s bull. That’s the funniest thing in the game to me; one dev using his singular message to the player to troll them and another dev spending theirs to try and prevent that. Like spending a genie wish to undo your last wish.

There’s something so interesting that the final boss wasn’t a giant monster of shadows or a grotesque drawn abomination, but a big powerful scorpion followed by Wilfre using your drawings against you. It’s not a complaint at all, it’s a compliment. Kind of reminds me of GameBoy games like Links Awakening and Wario Land and how bosses were like evil animals or something like that. Some could consider it lazy, but it’s strangely memorable to have the final boss be a big guardian scorpion, no flashiness, just a fight. It’s interesting

@@psychopianist630 It's amazing. I really can't decide which version I prefer. I think this one is more, for lack of a better word, _cool._ It's dripping with style and charisma. The Next Chapter's is more grand and imposing, which fits the much higher stakes.

Love this track but wish someone made an edit with sound effects added. This just hits different with the sounds of your sword clashing against scorpion pincers and the gut-wrenching sound of getting hit - not to mention the sound of Wilfre laughing maniacally as he rains stars down on the arena. Damn the nostalgia hits hard with this game.

I've forgot lots of memorys I had with this game, I barely can remember some bits of the game. I never knew who the fuck is Wilfre (not in his dark version) and why is he so important for the main story, so I can only remember that he was the final boss

I've always want to do a run where I just used a single small dot in the middle to draw anything. Other than platforming being tough as hell dodging those stars at the end will be near impossible. Just sharing an idea for others that like to make games neadlessly harder.
