PLEASE, somebody contact the Pima Air Museum to preserve one of these A's... I sent them an E-mail, but it's probably going to take more... They need to send one to Wright Pat and maybe others to other locations? They also should keep a couple of T-39 birds flying for Airshows. Also, sock away a few T-39 engines into storage for spare parts. The old B-36 still has engines around, they could save a few T-39s. OK, my 2cents worth...

22,500 k hours. Wow! Just broken in. Airlines usually put 60-80,000 hours on a jet before retirement. I worked on that plane and most if not all the C5A models in AR shop at Travis AFB and at 608 CAMS. We saw the Dover birds in West Germany during my time on active duty.

Westover Air Force Base great video.....I live behind the Base off 202.....love seeing the C-5M flying low over the golf course and my house...I grew up on Westover when they had C-130 back in the early 80s...

I hope this aircraft ends up at PIMA, the National Museum of the USAF or Scott AFBs Heritage Air Park rather than scrapped. I hope she (60-0461) is still around in AMARG and not completely gone.

@@gags5503 Sorry for the confusing comment, I wanted to say something like "Are the videos of the channel all the TF39 videos or do you have more of them?".

I don’t know the reason what i heard was they weren’t ready for it. I am sure one day it will get scrapped. I guess is it will never fly again.

Maybe at some point in the future. This A model has had the avionics upgrade so it will more than likely be preserved for many years.
