Thank you for sharing your experience. I’m in a similar position, having used LumaFusion for 5 years now, so your perspective is very useful to me.

You're welcome - what are your thoughts - have you tried FCP for iPad yet?

Completely, completely, COMPLETELY agree... I was baffled on how unintuitive Final Cut for iPad. It took me way too long to edit/cut a short form video where it would have taken me near 2 mins top on LumaFusion. This is near a year after this video has posted. I will probably do some commentary on my YT channel as well. Lumafusion is the clear victor.

Do you know if LumaFusion is looking at introducing the draw on feature? That would be very cool. Great review really helpful. I’ve been using LumaFusion for three years now and have a good work flow. I think I’ll stick with them.

Yes, I stayed with LumaFusion too. I’m not aware of them saying the draw on feature is coming to LF. Then again, even if they did, who knows when it would actually be implemented 🤣 love the developers though

I've just been to have a look how much it is as I have Lumafusion for £30 but I was interested. So I looked and it is another subscription type sale for £4.99 a month, or £49 annually. So Lumafusion is cheaper all round.

LF just had a great sale too

Lumafusion is the clear winner over FCP iPad due to its better interface, stabilization, and scopes.

Yup - I agree - I didn't continue my free trial of FCP for iPad

I'd consider the app better, if they didn't tie the thing to a subscription service :/ plus some people are complaining that they don't get the app for a discount since having the MacOS version, which lots of other companies do that for their multiplatform apps.
@PocketCams Жыл бұрын
Agreed - though it is pretty low cost, I still didn't think it worth it. Maybe if more features are added.

@@PocketCams I’d say they should just forget the subscription, and make it like… maybe the same price as Lumafusion. Cuz I believe Luma can edit 4K 60fps videos very well, and it’s just about $30 CAD or so for me. Then the app would sell well.

I have Lumafusion already. Been using it for years. FCP for iPad tempted me on paper. But using it, there was no contest. Lumafusion wins by a mile right now.

@@PocketCams people had high expectations because of how good the MacOS one was… and now that we have it… Yeah. LumaFusion still keeps the crown

One off subscription models are not a sustainable business model. Why would a company innovate new features for no revenue.
@PocketCams Жыл бұрын
It will be interesting to ee how LF will respond - with FCP as a new stimulus in this market - they will be forced to innovate faster or lose market share
