Amazing is not the word I'd use personally, but I can understand your relief. I was there in 1994 against Wimbledon and remember thinking we could surely never sink so low again. Then we did in 1998, and last season - and now this season. The saddest thing is that those at the top of the club have allowed - and even at times encouraged - our expectations as fans to fall so low that we're celebrating surviving by the skin of our teeth yet again. Fundamental change is needed at the club from the top down...

I accused some of these players of lacking fight and passion. I take it back, after watching that video you could see the passion and emotion in abundance. Onana almost in tears on the phone, coady on loan didn't make a difference to him if we stayed up or went down but he showed enormous fight and passion. Let's take that into next season with a few additions and climb the league table to a position a club as great as Everton needs to be. Utft coyb
