That was so fun! Thanks for letting us tag along. FYI, they have 3-4 flavors of popcorn in Riyadh but no option to add butter to the salted version 🤦🏼♀️ what were they thinking? Lots of food options.

Idk if it would be helpful to either of y’all, but I will say using noise reducing earbuds like Loops have really helped me navigate crowded &/or loud places. I feel like I get less overwhelmed / like I can actually process what’s happening & hear my own thoughts. It’s made socializing less exhausting tbh. You & Drew should give ‘em a try! Thanks for another lovely vlog 💗

Your vlogs were so much fun to watch. Thank you for sharing, you still shared lot's of funn stuff. In The Netherlands we don't have butter on our popcorn at the movies eather. That's something American. But we do have other toppings you can put on your popcorn at the bigger movie theater. (like M&M's, Salty Caramel and more. I prefer a good ol' salty popcorn. So funny what Drew said if he might have asked for popcorn at the movies in London, "maybe they would give me some chillied eal" 🤣 They could have easily use another name for popcorn in England, since there are many differences between American and British language, although it's both English. And besided that.in both the US as in England you have dialects ofcourse. You once gave an example about the different naming of puppie show and muddie buddies.

This series has made me so jealous lol. I usually go to the UK around this time for a music festival my band is asked to play. But me and my husband always go early and spend at least 3 days in london before the show. There never seems to be enough time to see everything you want to see so I can totally relate to that. But I ALWAYS make time to go to Camden and shop like a madwoman and head to this speakeasy cocktail bar in Chinatown. So many great spots. I could easily live there as well. So glad y’all had a good time

is it ♿️ accessible there?
@nerdmaid1240 Жыл бұрын
London is really accessible - transport especially. Nowhere is perfect obviously, but I walk with a stick and there are lots of great places, and many places with an accessible toilet. It’s worth doing your research before you visit each place in the UK. X
@TessaAvonlea Жыл бұрын
London is a massive city so accessibility varies a lot. The touristy areas in central London are usually very good for accessibility. But the city as a whole has a long way to go. Buses generally good for wheelchair access but trains and the tube are usually not, although if you plan your routes carefully and have someone with you to help who's willing to make it work, it's possible.

@nerdmaid1240 Жыл бұрын
That’s a myth from the American GI’s coming over during WW2 when there was rationing in place. The food in the UK is great, and there are so many regional foods to try when you travel around. I’m in Cornwall and Pasties and cream tea are what people love here. Some of the tourist places in London can be overhyped and overpriced, but it’s worth trying things out. 😊
