FINAL DEL CAMPEONATO DE ESPAÑA DE RECORTADORES ZARAGOZA 2017

'Use', campeón de España de recorte libre por segundo año consecutivo
Eusebio Sacristán 'Use' es por segundo año consecutivo el campeón de España de recorte libre en un coso de la Misericordia lleno hasta la bandera. El vallisoletano se enfrentó en una reñida final al castellonense José Manuel González 'Poca', que se proclamó subcampeón, y al veterano madrileño David Ramírez 'Peque'. Por tanto, la final fue un duelo entre, respectivamente, el mejor saltador de la actualidad, el mejor quebrador y el referente moral del recorte en los 24 años que lleva en activo.
Los seis toros lidiados fueron de las ganaderías de Yerbabuena, Los Galos y Pereira Lupi, todos ellos muy bien presentados y de excelente trapío. Pero el juego que dieron fue muy desigual. Incluso el toro reseñado para la final hubo de ser devuelto a los corrales porque su exceso de peso le impedía arrancarse adecuadamente pasada la primera ronda. Hasta cuatro recortadores resultaron cogidos en el concurso, pero ninguo resultó herido por asta de toro.

Už dlouho jsem neviděl koridu. Je vidět, že udělali španělé velký skok a hodně vyrovnali boj. Už nezraňují a postupně nezabíjí býky a je to více na férovku. Vyrovnané šance. Ta zvířata jsou nádherná a před těmi chlapíky a jejich odvahou a mrštností opravdu smekám. Opravdu krásná podívaná. I haven't seen a bullfight in a long time. I remember the smell of her breath and her deep bellowing as she rolled me around in the mud. I was trying to save her newborn calf that had fallen into a freezing canal. Only my oldest boy of about 10 years old to watch from our 4 wheeler and scream at the 1000lb crossbred cow. After much effort and using trees as shields we got her bull calf safely out of the gully and with his momma. That old red cow never thanked me. My boy thought it was funny - after I cleaned off all the mud. These men make it look so easy! It's not easy. Oh, and she was a mulie (no horns)

I remember this angry Angus cow (also polled, no horns) having the valley's cowboy down on the ground, trying to suffocate him or break his ribs by putting all her weight on him with her head. The two female owners of that crazy line of cattle laughing their dumb heads off because they had no clue of what was happening. Genetically bad news cattle, their offspring were all completely crazy too. I farmed bulls for over 30 years, I find them better to handle than cows.

@@peterh1875 agreed about handling bulls. My miss matched, sale barn herd of cows were crazy and always a problem to Gather. We needed a dozen cowboys and a pack of cur dogs to get them in the sorting pen. Through the years, those bad cows have been replaced by a gentle bunch that can be penned with a feed sack.
