Just gonna throw my two cents in, this challenge was pretty much designed with save-scumming in mind. Not doing it would just be adding an arbitrary level of difficulty that would do nothing but make an already long challenge run take even longer. Also, happy birthday Primal! Hope you get over that cold soon!

"No save scumming" yeah, someone is just lying or being a massive troll... or both. even less restrictive challenges let you save scum. Whoever said that needs to be forced to do this challenge themselves w/o save scumming. better yet, they should be forced to restart if they lose ONCE.

Just food for thought: if Isaaru actually completed his summoners journey he would either be sacrificing Pacce or leaving Pacce as an orphan in the middle of the zanarkand ruins 😅

Not really, orphaning him yeah, sure. But usually the fights being in the calm lands, he would be able to bring him back to their home to entrust him to someone they trust.

@ I mean he is still an orphan in the sense that both of his brothers are now dead and one of them is Sin. The flashback with Yunalesca sure made it seem like Auron was just left alone after Jecht and Braska went to the back room with her.

@ the cut scene they already fought sin and died. auron went back after the fact, not that he was attacked then.

@@andrewp9982 so I’m assuming Braska summons the final aeon and they both die while their current version of sin also dies. that’s still crazy for a little kid to have to deal with knowing that his two brothers were dead and one of them is the cause of destruction for the next summoners journey as the new sin. But he may never know that.

@ yeah, but ultimately isaaru could have abandoned the pilgrimage after finding out the information regarding the final aeon. Most of them Im sure are aware that the summoner dies, but I don’t think they fully are aware of the sacrifice needed for the final aeon. Seemed like at least half the party characters were surprised by that in the scene. So he may have thought he could leave his brothers with each other but finding out he would need to sacrifice them as well may just decide not to. Very similar to when he stops after losing in via purifico

I think in America its called an internship, I think like a decade ago it was common for companies to basically not pay while giving them experience. Now I think its paid like half the normal minimum wage. Though with some jobs its different, like waitresses basically getting 3 dollars an hour while they mostly rely on tips. (I'm pretty sure that last one won't relate to you as tipping culture is mostly in America)

yea so an apprenticeship is paid like this in the uk. age 21 and over - 11.44 18-20 - 8.60 under 18 - 6.40 apprenticeship 6.40 The apprenticeship rate can be paid at any age to somebody on an apprenticeship in there first year, so if a 22yr old wanted to be an apprentice then year 1 they would get 6.40 an hour but year 2 even if they're still an apprentice they have to be paid the full rate of 11.44

It'd be pretty ridiculous to not allow save scumming. It's forcing time wasting when it's not necessary in an already insanely time wasting challenge. Disallowing it wouldn't even add to the challenge, just the tedium.
