There are trash pack which you can clear with almost single hit. This is more of a showcase on stronger mob. Then there are mini bosses, and finally multiphase boss.

Stagger mechanic is very, very fun in FF7R, and a fun mechanic in general. Stagger is part of Sekiro and Elden Ring, 2 GOTY. Sounds like a skill issue

and got hit by one single attack. Mobs feel like dmg sponges, combat may be fun, but the game is way too easy, which made combat feel somewhat redundant to me

Made me glad i play this on pc (don't have ps 5) the mod to balance damage + ai for multiple enemy, made the combat more interesting. But the stuttering on pc is quite frustrating... Welp pick your poison
