I don’t know what’s more mad, covers of this behemoth dropping seemingly monthly all around KZbin, or this take possibly being the take to end all takes. It’s phenomenally ott-as dancing mad as it gets!

7:35 That March Entry of the Gladiators, also known as the classic Circus music. That part was awesome and a fitting movement to what is going on in this part of the Final Boss Battle.

Agreed! It’s certainly how I felt playing that phase of the boss. 😂
@crowdemon_archives Жыл бұрын
I can only imagine how that applies to FFXIV's Kefka (Savage) as well when the raid was current... 😂 (I'm only familiar with tail-end of ShB and then the entirety of EW, sorry)

And this remix has further proven why I think Dancing Mad, the original or any rendition of it, is truly the best of any final boss music I've heard. Each tier with the same amount work put into it, all connecting together by a thread carefully woven to stitch them to form a glorious piece. Fantastic work, I hope this gains more recognition, you rightfully deserve it.

Agreed. OWA gets all the publicity and love, but Dancing Mad is just had so many more creative layers. Truly an outstanding work of art -- only limited by the hardware medium of its day.
@andrewomahony92602 жыл бұрын
@@johntsui OWA is overrated; the only reason it ever got any form of excitement was because it had lyrics in it, despite the fact that the lyrics don't really describe what is going on very well.

This is absolutely beautiful, enthralling, and mindblowing delectable for us old school FF6 fans. I got goosebumps listening to it. I've listened to many other renditions of this Uematsu's masterpiece and yours is by far the best. The only other one I can compare it to on quality level is the Grissini Project's version, and that one has a very different sensibility; both deserve to be enjoyed separately. Congratulations and thank you.

This is the best arrangement of Dancing Mad I've listened to yet along with that one very popular symphonic arrangement that is 7 years old. Both have a different interpretation of the piece, and yours legitimately tries to offer something more than a simple cover. Excellent job!

VERY GOOD, now I have to add it in my dancing mad playlist
@elitefitrea3 жыл бұрын
Splendid! The hard power chords that slam in, sustain, and abruptly chop off, combined with the church organ, create something really new & unique that also works astonishingly well. Will have to ponder that.

THIS IS A REALLY F*CKING GOOD COVER OF THIS SONG!!!!! 1:10 - 1:32 is one of the most metal, and gothic chord progressions ever composed. Change my mind. Better yet, fyte me. Edit: I get a MAJOR prog metal sorta Opeth sound on the movement starting @ 12:42 - this interpretation does a great job of preserving and embellishing upon that feel from the original,
@TrashPandaMusicYT2 жыл бұрын
Thank you! I am a huge Opeth fan (before they went prog rock) so that’s quite a compliment. I feel like Mikael would have come up with more complex guitar riffs instead of letting the orchestra, drums and bass carry the show though. He’d probably have a sick Kefka laugh-growl too. 😂
