Story-
Mako─the lifeblood of the planet and the fuel that powers the city of Midgar...
By exploiting this resource through their Mako Reactors, the Shinra Electric Power Company has all but seized control of the entire world. A ragtag group of idealists, known as Avalanche, are one of the last bastions of resistance.
Cloud, an elite SOLDIER operative turned mercenary, takes part in an Avalanche operation to destroy Mako Reactor 1 in the city of Midgar.
The bombing plunges the city into fiery chaos, and amidst the raging inferno, Cloud is tormented by visions of a bitter enemy long thought dead.
After this hallucination fades, he meets a young woman selling flowers, who offers him a single yellow blossom.
In that instant, a host of swirling shadows surround them.
Once more begins a story that will shape the destiny of an entire world.

wow everything about this game so far is exactly the game i played when it first came out on the playstation sure it took alot to stretch the imagination i mean yes we had to read all the dialog and the graphics werent always that great though it did have its moments....didnt matter however cause this was the version i saw when played it lmao even right down to the voice acting is almost exactly how i imagined they would have sounded. this game is the gift that keeps on giving...its kinda like reading a batman comic and still hearing kevin conroys voice as you read his dialog lol

That poor Shinra guard at 9:44:22 lol now again I am the one who seems to notice the ceiling cracking above Rufus and tseng especially at 9:46:32 as the whispers are passing them and as they walk down the steps you see it, basically if you know what happens to Rufus later in ffvii og you would know that this is a foreshadowing of his near death by diamond weapon

Is it me or there was no hint of malice in Sephirot's words, actions or expresions on the remake? His behaviour was definitively defiant - it's clear the arrogance in his face, but for me, not malicious. He said "let us defy destiny together", that could mean a lot of shit, but bottom line - we know what was their destiny on the original FFVII, so if the theory that Aerith and Sephirot knows way more than meets the eye is correct... Well, maybe he's getting his redemption soon.

I used a PS4 Pro, legit it’s the actual game resolution. I did add a couple cinematic effects in Sony Vegas 17 Pro. Tinkered with LUT. But nothing much! 👍

This is great, but it feels like Christopher Nolan sound editing - the music drowns out a lot of dialogue. And sometimes the "background characters" talks too loud as well, so you can't hear the main cast.

Haha, appreciate the feedback...I can't help background character levels sadly, the only audio i was able to separate was the main vox and background music in some parts, most cutscenes i left unedited

This is FF7 epicness to tha core, well done. The FF7 remake is an graphic extrordinaire don't get me wrong. Despite some flaws and for not killing biggs, and to take out the sense of urgencies in the slums when the fire sets in, aerrith running countless times in the fire and getting blasted back, yes get the the first part of this FF7 remake. But blizzard please don't take away the tragic death scene of Aerrith and allow us to play all 3 females characters in the same team...In the second part of this masterpiece!
