WOOTcorey I lost my cords and GBAs a long time ago. I have one GBA that I found, but the only person I could play it with will only be visiting for a short while. So it's pretty much the polar opposite of your situation. The multiplayer was pretty fun. It's mainly a multiplayer game, but I never liked needing a GBA just to play with friends and relatives. Bad move, Nintendo.

Everyone keeps talking about how boring single player is, but I actually really enjoy the game even though I don't have the equipment for multiplayer. The single player was fun, especially if you're weird like me and imagine in game characters respect you more for taking on tough areas solo. Plus you don't argue about treasure and what not. Although the moogle did set me on fire in the middle of a boss fightXD

The last year of high school i grabbed 3 friends, and we beat this game. On our last hangout before we wouldn't see eachother ever again, the last boss was kicking oir ass. We were out of phoenix downs and we all wanted to give up except 1 of my friends. His encouragement had me unlock super saiyan, and on the last life with all other 3 friends dead, i defeated the boss. This game will always be something special to me. 😂

I kinda disagree. I only ever played this game alone (unfortunately), and I found it very special and extremely interesting. The beautiful landscapes and amazing music score alone make it completely worth it. I would just go years and years and years, alone on my caravan and enjoyed every minute of it. One of the best intro themes from the 128bit era for the GCN, great game absolutely recomended in multiplayer mode, just loved it back in the days.

it's not 128-bit. it stopped at 64. the doubling in bits per word was because that was the smallest possible data that could be seen. the reason for the doubling in bits was because of how much the processor needed in order to even know extra data existed. some 8 bit processors get past this by having a way to use two pieces of code to refer to data instead of one, so they can see past bytes 0 through 255. the problem is, even that has its limits, as we saw with 32 bit computers having a limit on RAM. a 32 bit pc couldnt have more than a single gb of ram, because it just didnt have a way of seeing anything else existed. we have not reached this limit with 64-bit yet, and until we do, 128-bit would actually be *slower*. one notable thing is, changing how many bits are in a word makes it harder to do backwards compatibility. the wii u, can play wii games specifically because all it has to do is disable a screen and slow itself down. and a wii can play gamecube games because it can just disable the wii remote and slow itself down. that's just the hardware end, but the software end of things is very similar. this is not possible if the bits per word changes.

I never got as much in the FFs serie, played the 6, 7, tactics, 14, but crystal chronicles main theme song always bring a bit of water in my eyes man, there's something so beautiful and nostalgic of that OST that I can't shake out of my my absolute top 10 of best tracks ever done. I've got the luck of sharing the couch cop on the gamecube with 3 other buddies and I gotta say, this is the absolute best time I've had playing a game in coop. Sadly the new remaster is crap, it had to be played with buddies because Nintendo can't make an online game if their life depended on it.

Grew up playing this game with my friend and my sister. We were lucky enough to all have GBAs and cables. We didn't actually beat it until a couple years ago though in Dolphin. That last dungeon and boss do not mess around

I grew up playing this game too, and they released the game on the switch so I got it and I tried it with my brother and my sister and it just did not feel the same. It felt like they did the online terribly. I think the thing that may not wanna play the game on the switch anymore was when we played the game together online and then I tried to play to see if the save would be the same if I played by myself like some other games too it would carry the save over from single player to multiplayer, even if you’re not the leader as long as he made the same progress but this game did not do that. I don’t think. Because when I went to check, I did not have the same save. I had to start from the very beginning, but then somebody else who was the leader of the game my brother or sister they had the game on their save.

SparkSkel I played it on the gamecube, i played it until my cd broke. My favourite race were the lilties, as i prefered to go on physical damage only. The only thing i would really liek to know, is there a way to avoid the fight against the memory eater? i mean, i also would liek to have some of the artifacts of the last stage, you know?. There is one thing i really despised,though. The multiplayer on gamecube could not be played with gamecube controllers, thats why i never could play it and i also never managed to get into that one area at the dead city, where you had to activate 2 spellstones at once.
