Excuse the language, but this was fucking amazing. This took me to a time in my youth where I would spend hours upon hours of getting lost in these fantastical worlds of Final Fantasy. There is a special ache reserved inside our hearts for soundtracks in games. The music unconsciously wraps its way around you whilst you advance through the game; like the way a girl's smell gently surrounds you whilst you fall in love. And then, when the game is complete or the love is gone, years can pass by. But then when you hear it once more, this potent dose of nostalgia catches you off guard and shatters all your defenses. And you are back again, lost in that world of childhood fantasy.

That's not quite Vamo Alla Flamenco, that's literally the Troian Beauty of XIV arrangement, yes it has a dash similar of Vamo Alla Flamenco (except with a slower and more somber of FFIV Troia, for a dungeon called The Fell Court of Troia, recommend you trying out it, it's great). And Vamo Alla Flamenco is also in XIV as well.

“The Otherside of the Mountain” is one of my favorites… Final Fantasy I on NES and III on SNES were the sole reasons why I got into music performance and wanted to join a wind ensemble / orchestra. I fell in love with Nubuo Uematsu’s music for decades to come and even watched one of his concerts with him in attendance in Chicago (Arnie Roth conducting) and his music moved me to tears; I’ll never forget it. Amazing performance and thank you for sharing!! ❤

How do you isolate the guitar so well from the background noise? Your technique is so incredibly honed, too. You never hear scratches between changing chords quickly up or down the fretboard. Seriously, exceptional skills and sound. I love listening to your music.

FF7 was my first final fantasy, and to this day it is my favorite storyline, characters and music. However I went back and played each of the previous titles and loved them all. FF5's music always stuck out to me as something special, right up there with FF7. Thank you for the amazing rendeitions!

XIV's free up to Heavenward (it's second expansion) and give's you a lot of gameplay for nothing essentially... If you ever thought of going back. They've redone the Realm Reborn portion of the game and cut over half of it's content to make the story flow better (full story of Realm Reborn is still there, just reworked) and removed a lot of the fetch quest missions during the main story related missions. it's 100000x better for new comers/returning players.

Sounds like you're not afraid to do low tunings on your nylon! If you're interested, I transcribed Venetian Boat Song for fun when I was at ULM. If I can find that dang sheet, you're welcome to have a read through it. I wanted to perform it, but didn't. It's got some fun harp harmonics in there, and stays true to the original key center of the piece. Anyway, lmk!
