The dungeon in FF3 (famicom) was even worse. That was easily the hardest FF game

@@j_c_93 I'm pretty sure if players was able to save at anytime of the dungeon or If the dungeon had save point it wouldn't be as hard as it is...

I would honestly say that original FF3 is literally one final dungeon save point away from being a perfect game for the hardware. It’s easily my favorite of the Famicom trilogy as it is.

I swear I've turned that thing into a pile of scrap metal all the times I've faced it in a Final Fantasy game. Haven't fought it in the DS version of FF3 and have yet to play FFXV. Don't know if I encountered it in FFV on the PS1. Possibly.

@@civilwildman it’s an encounter in the castle area of the final dungeon (in FFV). It’s easy to never face it at all because that area is so short.

Bombastic, nice work. But I still prefer the NES original because it's far more melancholic which I think fits the theme a lot more.

mmm ... which is the FF2 **SNES** version? (besides FF IV)... wouldn't this be the WS/PS1/GBA version of FF2 instead?

@@Nugem what I meant with my original message is that there is *not* REAL FF2 for the *SNES*: only for NES / Famicom, and lately for WS/PS1/GBA. The only ones that were released for the SNES / Super Famicom are FF IV, V and VI.

Story is decent though. I'm glad I played through the pixel remaster just for the experience. The level system is not very good I agree, but it still worked enough to not be completely trash.
