Equal parts heroic fanfare and operatic dance, this is surely one of the finest battle themes to grace a Final Fantasy game. I'm still astounded at what emotive music Nobuo Uematsu managed to squeeze out of that little SNES cartridge. If you listen carefully, you'll note that the wonderful string countermelodies starting at 0:20 are actually an incarnation of the famed Final Fantasy Prelude arpeggios.
There are few proper orchestral remixes of this theme, so I thought I would make one. I opted to replace the bass and drums with more orchestral counterparts. Instruments are EWQLSO Silver.

Nice, I was hoping you would start being active again..you're probably one of the best pianists I've seen on youtube. You still have the best ocarina of time intro piano cover ive ever heard. Keep killing it!

+3dogs3dogs Thanks for the encouragement! I have a number of things in the works, both piano and otherwise, and it's motivating comments like yours that keep me going. I haven't given up on the Impressions of Zelda album, which is about 70-80% complete at this point and includes more polished versions of the Title, Fairy Flying, and Hyrule Castle Town arrangements. I'll keep at it...
