I loved the idea of The Creator when I first played this game, it basically changes everything we knew about the Nintendo era FF from 1 to 6. I love how we find out that crystals were not these primordial magical things that everyone worshipped but were just recording devices sent by a race of extraterrestrials to monitor the evolution of life on the different planets. I love how it now makes perfect sense that we encountered similar enemies across the different games like behemoth, flan, etc... or that humans and other races were found on every worlds because the evolution of life was guided by The Creator's race. For all we know, the odd 'advanced technology location in an otherwise medieval world' we see in some of these games could have been left behind by the Creator's race. I just love how this is the final reveal for every Nintendo era Final Fantasy games.

Besides, in some arts and concepts, the Creator looks a lot in appearance and behavior with the Occuria (FF12), Jenova (FF7), Hyne (FF8) and the Terran people (FF9).

With a full party of FIVE. I can do just as much damage (and probably more with an Awaken boost) with a Limit Ring-boosted Vibra Plus (which takes only two people and has a faster casting time).

My party: Porom: better healer than Rosa, especially with Double Cast. She could nuke the Creator for 9999×2 if he's not in a form that absorbs Holy Ceodore: he may be weaker than Cecil and Kain, but his larger White Magic pool MORE than makes up for it. Curaga, Protect, Shell, Raise, Slow, AND Haste? yes please! Rydia: I strongly felt that this was HER story, as the Eidolons were one of the main focuses of the story. Plus she's very strong anyhow Edge: Gotta keep the lovebirds together ;) Palom: raw magic damage, and could Twincast with Porom if needed. Is this the best team? most likely not, but i greatly enjoyed using them. Hell, i took out Lost Babil using only these 5 (Rydia & Edge for Torso, Ceodore for the Head, and the twins for the Core). My next run will prolly use Ceodore, Ursula, Leonora, Rydia, and possibly Luca. I look forward to the challenge~

The first time I played After Years (almost 8 years ago, on the Wiiware version) I used this exact same team. I felt it was a mix of new generation (Luca, Ursula and Ceodore) with the youngest of the original cast to guide and help them.

I'd probably mostly compose my team of White Magic and bands that break the damage limit, so here's my team: Cecil, Ceodore, Kain, Porom and Rosa Mainly Cecil, Ceodore, Kain and Rosa mostly have the offensive bands that break the damage limit like Sky Grinder, Double Jump, Trinity Crusade, Vibra Plus and more whilst also having support bands like Divine Heal and Effect Form (which only benefits Cecil, Kain and Rosa but still) and Porom learning doublecast will make sure Rosa uses her mana mainly on her bands and will cast protective White Magic

I'm playing the wiiware version and I am on the last chapter. On the Final Battle I don't want to be without Goldez and Rosa. Ursula is really powerfull for me so I don't cast her out. I think the last two will be Tsukinowa and Rydia.

I know :) I think I go to the finale with the 5 I really like :) I kinda like Rosa more than her (doesn't mean that I don't like Porom. She's kinda cute -especially in the Original IV :3). I found much potential in Palom so I think I replace Rydia. I'm gonna take Tsukinowa out and replace him with Edge (same thing with Rosa and Porom x3) I think I stay w/ Ursula. I like her somehow :) But I like Cecil as well (damn I can't decide >.

My final party might consist of Ceodore, Cecil, Rydia, and the two twins. Cecil and Ceodore because I feel as though I have to keep father and son together. Rydia because she's a summoner, and summoners are incredible, no matter how you look at it. Plus, her Eidolons were taken from her by the mysterious girl, so this is partly her story. And Palom and Porom because I like those two a lot. Plus, with Porom, it gives me three healers/supporters, so I might take advantage of that. Palom because he's a good damager with Black Magic, and that, added with Rydia, makes a pretty good team. Might level them up to at least 70, maybe 75, before facing the creator. But, once the battle begins, there's no going back. I can't wait until I get to the final boss of the game. Despite not beating the first version of Final Fantasy 4.

Cecil, Golbez, Rosa, Palom(Leonora is better but requires high level), Porom. Cecil is a great damage dealer and a good tanker, Golbez as a (overpowered)fighter/dark magician/Tanker, Rosa and Porom as healers and buffers. Poron can be replaced by Leonora if she is well leveled, so, with her, you have can have 3 healers/buffers, 2 dark magicians, 2 tankers and 2 phisical damage dealers... Fuck the bands, this team is OP.

Not even close. Kain, Yang, Golbez, Porom, Rydia is supreme. Kain, Cecil and Ceodore are pretty much the same. Except for the fact that Kain has better stats. Yang has the highest hp in the game and does tremendous physical damage. Golbez is basically a tanky black mage which can be very useful. Porom is the only proper white mage that can learn the overpowering dualcast. Rydia's summons are far more powerful than any black magic lategame.

@@Khroniclas Cecil has the best stats. Take off all their equipment at Level 99 and you'll see Cecil has better stats than Kain and Ceodore in most categories. Also Kain's Jump is worthless taking too many turns to be useful while other characters can get at least two attacks in before he charges it up and executes one jump.

Guys you do know if your all members are lvl 50 it takes a little chunk of your phone's battery and it takes so long to destroy the creator when lvl 60 or 50 it took like 30, 20 minutes i think

Dig this.....my best team is....(And take notes) Ceodore, Ursula, Palom, Porom, and Tsukinawa. You give them the beat down with the twin rush band of Ceodore and Ursula, Palom spams Flare (I don't need dualcast) While Tsukinawa and Porom give the best Healing wind. Be sure to carry plenty of Elixir and you have nearly any boss in the bag during a waxing or waning moon.
