OK PEOPLE I FOUND IT SOOOOO EASY TO USE AMARANT TO HIT HIM WITH SPARE CHANGE WHICH CAUSES 150 DAMAGE INSTANTLY NO OTHER TURNS REQUIERED ( i was at level 33 with just about every one)

FF IX is my favorite Final Fantasy game of all time, and I don't think I've ever fought him before. You get a pair of running shoes for beating him. Wow. That's a great accessory. I get the reference to the Page 32 and Page 64 enemies in the Ancient Library in FF V.

Stealing items seems to be a pain in this game. Though I like it's unique idea of giving more than 1 item to steal.

Some items are easier to steal than others, from different bosses. I think the last item from this boss has a very low chance to be stolen.

Why Tantarian true form stay that long ? mine only show like 2 turns and it become book again, but since all of my character already learn auto reflect, i'm just using vivi's fira reflected to 4 characters and it deals 9999 damage to Tantarian.

You must not use physical attacks when he is open. Only magic attacks, then he'll stay open. And yes, that 4 x reflect magic is powerful as hell ^^ And so fun to watch too!!

"For example, if you attack it and it does 50 damage, it opens to page 50. However, after that the damage you do gets added to the page. So if your next hit does another 50, it'll open to page 50. Knowing this, you should be able to get the bosses true form to emerge quite easily." Error.

I remember this boss being pretty easy.. like you had to steal from it on a certain page. Defend mostly, use magic or physical to get it to change pages, then simply grind. Always a 10 min battle. I used the exact same team too.

how to do it disc 1 easy... have minus atack on steiner... make him lose about 150 hp before battle... use minus strike righ away to make him show up start the fire casting process while killing steiner with zidane then phoenix down steiner.. he will have maybe 1 hp maybe 8 but now you can hit with 1k or 2 k each minus strike even when the boss is clossed inside his book

This boss is streight up AWFUL. Super boring, i've seen it spam paper storm for 8+ turns in a row after hitting someone with doom, and then you get to hit it ONCE when the demon appears. Long. Repetitive. I love this game, but good god this is such a terrible design for a boss. I've beaten ozma, and hades, but fuck this torture.

I'll never ever understand how people can be able to play without fixed cameras. Every single fucking turn not phsyical the camera switches place 100 times. So annoying. And did you know that if you don't attack him physically when he is open, he will just stay open? Just use magic.
