This remix has been a part of my playlists for years now. I still remember when it had like 5k views and everyone was saying "this needs more views!" and stuff. And I still get the same, good old shivers down my spine every time the FF IX and X medleys begin. Can't even begin to express how amazing this work is.

I didn't feel it would be big at the time. They were projects and I remember the people involved more than anything. Very small group. I was always told, along with everyone else, never to go online and talk about the series or the work, but I think enough time has passed and I've been wanting to "write" again. It's emotional to see the same fondness that I have for all things FF that you guys have. It's very touching.

leaving out voice actors was a production must but it left our minds to assemble the pieces given to put it together and become part of it is what final fantasy (past) has done but its sorrowful to see its fall from grace...lets brace onto the memories hoping the next few releases will be better then the last (excluding 7 cant top that)

The music of the FF series has always been the best of any. I mean prior to X they had to tell an entire story without any voice actors, and short of having a "silent movie" game, they had to use something. The music makes me feel more so than any voice actor in any game. You can feel your heart rate change when the music is playing, you feel more immersed in the game, as if what you see is happening around you.

i like 10, but for me hte best has to be 7,followed closely by 8.The storylines were unbelievable, and for me, 7 was more than just a game.Even now, more than a decade later, i just had to hunt down the music and put it on my Ipod.I will never forget that game as long as I live, and that is saying a lot.

Elder Scrolls devs are well known for holding homages in their games of MULTIPLE other games, so many that I can't even count. Not "stolen", it's simply their way of bringing it back to the attention of the people who play their games, which is practically everyone now. Is that not cool? What about the Notched Pickaxe, or Peek a Choo's diary inside Weeping Bell Halls from Morrowind?

personally I really like FF10; but I think 9 has the best storyline per individual character......while FF10 really only shows you the stroy behind tidus and Yuna, Final Fantasy 9 also makes room for Steiners internal conflict about whether he should serve a coorupt queen, or vivi who finds out he's an automaton and desperatley tries to discover whether he's alive in the human sense of the world, only to find out that alive really has no meaning to the word other than to exist

I wrote the dialogue and story lines for Final Fantasy 9, 11, Chronicles and Tactics Advance and I've never said anything about it. But the music is a huge part of the series. They really are works of art and I'm proud to be a part of the world of Final Fantasy. aronbrent . com
