Overall, I still really like the Katana in SOP:FFO, but I was hoping there'd be more sheath attack-oriented moves like Shadow Sword or Sword of Discernment in Nioh games or more types of iai slashes that aren't just Iai Giri.

yea, either some moves from nioh or get a new sheathing moves would be a nice addition,

There are a bunch of Iai jutsu from FFXIV. This is an FF game so Nioh isn’t likely going to belong here. Setsugekka is technically the strongest Samurai ability but it’s a combo chain so it’s kinda hard to fit in now when they need skill connect for it to work

I wish more abilities put you into Senshin stance. Garro feels necessary to combo. Would be nice if Meikyo Shisui and Tsukikage put you into this stance.

Did you know you can combo most katana skills by using garo first, then mashing your r2/ triangle, and with ninja you can incorporate a jutsu finisher

How many skils can you equip at once?

depends which weapon, axe has 6 skill slot while katana has 9 slot. And you can swap between 2 job for different skill variation.
