That light Fusoya does have his uses in decks using earth that use cards that benefit from damage like Gabranth or taking it like earth Cecil so it's rather situational.
@ComodoDrgn7 жыл бұрын
Light fusoya is useful when you are going to take a point of damage either way due to some forward being unblockable or all your forwards are dull in which case you can potentially take out the threat and damage yourself rather than let them attack through, it could also be used as a lesser battle trick to power up Gabranth or a dark knight when needed

That is true. I just wish it hit for a slightly higher number. 9000 would have been good and I feel it would have made the damage feel worth it. Though I haven't seen this card in practice yet. :) -James Big Orbit

Not only that, but if you know that your next card is a EX burst (maybe because u used geomancer) you can trigger your own ex burst. And lastly, it is a backup and so gives colourless crystal which is always useful.
@AckzellMusic7 жыл бұрын
Indeed he can be dulled for colorless crystal, that is nice to know. For some reason I assumed at first since he couldn't produce an element that it wasn't able to produce any CP at all but that's actually very useful. :)

Samuel Ahrens not as useful as cosmos for colour fixing but can be used for CP when paired with something else to give you the colour you need so it's not too bad

How much would cost a competitive deck on FFTCG?
@BigOrbit7 жыл бұрын
The price can vary wildly, but the real cost will come down to how many Legendary cards you want to include as they cost the most. - Simon, Big Orbit

The reason why the Paladin (FFXIV) card was called Knight is because that's what it's called in Japanese. The TCG looks like it's going for a more direct translation.
@BigOrbit7 жыл бұрын
It still seems odd to me as it's not consistent, as the names they use for the characters are still the official English names. For example Terra instead of Tina, and Edward instead of Gilbert. It doesn't matter either way though. :) -James Big Orbit
@Gonkers20XX7 жыл бұрын
I get what you mean, I believe with the two examples you mentioned with Tina and Gilbert is because their games are really popular and loads of people know Terra and Edward with this instance with Knight they probably saw they had Knight cards already in the game and figured it'd be okay to translate literally OR it may be due to lack of knowledge on the localization when printing these cards as you said it doesn't matter but I guess consistency is good. If Y'shtola gets an S ability like Stoneskin II I have a feeling it will be called Stoneraskin like it is in Japanese. This is just a wall of text of speculation, thanks for replying though!

First: would love to get into this game but it still feels hard to find anything for it anywhere near me. Would love to get a draft going for it. Second: I disagree with you about Vaan. Not because he's not a blah character, but because if you pay attention, the focus of the game shifts pretty early on to Ashe as the main instead. Perhaps something to consider for your opinion of XII.
@BigOrbit7 жыл бұрын
Sorry about that, I understand that Ashe is a very important character, but I would still regard Vaan as at least one of the main characters. For people who don't know much about the game who don't want any spoilers it would have been easier to just explain Vaan as the main character. Though I probably made a few other spoilers in this video. Whoops! :P - James Big Orbit
@Mecha827 жыл бұрын
Way I see it problem at considering Vaan has main character is that he really has nothing to do with FF12's story while Ashe does. So really only reason why he is considered main character (and gets to be in Dissidia) is that he is typical bland pretty boy. Vaan makes Tidus look good.
@ScrewFearMe7 жыл бұрын
the reason he and penelo are in the game is because the player is new to the game and doesnt know anything just as vaan and penelo and thus they are our "eyes"

i really dislike the psp images they put on those cards...

Jesus these look awful. Maybe the game itself is fun, I wouldn't know I never played it, but the cards themselves are utterly horrendous. The art looks like is just ripped from already existing art, or even just screenshots. The card layout is also pretty bad. They look like those crappy cheap cards that you'd get from something like a movie card pack thing.
@Dylligraphy7 жыл бұрын
The game is really fun and the elements are well-balanced. Art isn't the most important thing to me by any means but I like how these reflect the original games' aesthetics rather than streamlined modern renderings. The cards are made of very durable material so they keep their conditions well and the holos can be really dazzling (pretty awesome how every single card gets a holo counterpart too).
