It feels like someone who is a great fan of the game made this tutorial video through all its awkward cuts and completely non-forced dialogue. Fun thing is, this is an official tutorial, which gives it so much more charm. Just the fact that the official creator puts a tutorial for a TCG online is nice, I don't see Wizards of the Coast doing that stuff.

Head up to your FLGS and get a night started, bring multiple decks to teach people. That's how I got people to play Netrunner with.

Vanguard and Weiss use a similar damage system as far as I know.

The damage system is exactly like Vanguard, actually, except it takes 6 damage to get a victory there, instead of the 7 in FFTCG. That, and Vanguard has Triggers that can alter the outcome of the damage you take. I guess we will see what Part 2 has in store. I can't wait.

Hi all. We went crazy for this game today at my local game shop. However we came up with five questions so far... 1). Can floating CP be carried onto the next turn (E.g. opponent's end step, I "dull" my active Backup, then when I go to my active step, I draw and can "dull" that Backup again, in effect giving me 2 CP)? 2). Can cards from the hand be discarded for CP at any time (E.g. even at instant speed in the opponent's combat step)? 3). Is there a limit to the number of Forwards on the battlefield? 4). For cards that can have multiples of the same name on the battlefield (such as Knight) is there a limit? 5). Can a Forward with Haste attack first turn before the opponent even gets a chance to play a card?

PLEASE CONFIRM FROM SQUARE ENIX ABOUT EX BURST AS WE HAVE CONFLICT HERE. when ex burst goes to damage zone - that is the time that ex burst cannot be resolved by auto ability right? when ex burst card casted on the field, then it can resolved by amaterasu to cancel its effect right? Hmmm It feels like a mix of a lot of different cards games, but there is one thing I'm worried about, what happens when you deckout? I know that in another game with high draw rate(Weiss Schwarz) that you can shuffle your discard into a deck at a cost. Drawing two cards after the first turn makes it seem like you'd you though your deck fast.

I have question regarding how to use summons: summons can be played during an opponent's turn in response to an ability or effect, but you also have to pay their CP to use them, so does this mean that you can generate CP during your opponent's turn by activating and then dulling a backup, and/or discarding cards? If so is this also the case with Special Abilities which activate on an opponent's turn, but require a cost, such as Snow's Vendetta, which costs 1 Ice CP to use and can only be used when Snow is blocking? The rules seem a little vague in these areas. Thanks in advance for any help anyone can provide.

So far every online store is sold out of preorders but what point is there if they are going to release a US specific version? Also it seems as if the defending player is at a disadvantage when defending, especially when the attacking player can form a party and decide where the blocking forwards damage gets divided. Is it possible to place two or more blockers for each forward that attacks you?

the starters are basted on 7 10 and 13 the first booster will have other characters from other games. Some have already been spoiled (like Kuja, Squall, some FFT characters...) it's more based around the different colorus / elements

Fix the summoning portion of this game. It dumb that you CPs come tapped already and if you want your forward to come out, you have to discard other forwards to get more cards. There better be a card that gets your cards out of that break zone.
