Wow...the Smash team really implemented these well, especially Finishing Touch, IMO. Heck, had FF7 been on the N64, he could've easily become the first third-party character in Smash.

Tbh if I were in charge of creating Cloud's Smash moveset or at least the specials, it would be exactly as it is in the game. Combining Climhazard and Braver into a single move was brilliant.

The most satisfying moment was beating Sephiroth with Finishing Touch at only 1 HP. I would never forget that feeling

That would be cool if that’s the 3rd final boss!.. but not true with 4th final boss cause even if you don’t have the 4th limit break & did nothing, Cloud will automatically used 4th limit break to kill Sephiroth with no shirt regardless! But I have kill him with one hit of the sword if you choose to only attack first before limit break..,? A bit anti-climatic. If done that way…. 😅

Your limit break meter goes up as you take more damage. It looks like the only move that didn't make it into smash is Meteorain.. which I supposed it does't fit anyway.

+Xaasrevile In smash bros it looks like you can charge it up instead of having to be hit. Proof of this is where Cloud just stood still and charged it for around 2 seconds. Meteorain is more than likely in but hasn't been finished yet. All of his Limit breaks are in smash but Meteorain. Wouldn't make sense for it not to be in

+Officially Not SBlash Why would it be in? There aren't any moves it could be; we've seen powered up versions of Cross-slash, Climhazzard, and Blade Beam. We also saw Finishing Touch which is presumably his down special after he's done charging it with, well, his down special.

TylightDark Mostly because his Usmash and Finishing touch animations are so similar I believe it's his Usmash, and Meteorain is the only limit break not shown. It wouldn't make any sense to just leave it out when everything else is still in

You can buy the game on Steam. Its also possible to find PS1/USB cables so you can use PS1 controllers on your computer (assuming you intend to play on a PC). Steam lets you do that. :)

All multi-hit Limit Breaks are determined by the characters "Attack" and "Level" (Nothing else!) Ex. Yuffies DotL (Doom of the Living) +75.000 damage At Level 65 with 162 Atk. DotL = ca 1300 dmg / hit At Level 99 with 196 Atk. DotL = ca 2500 dmg / hit At Level 99 with 255 Atk. DotL = ca 5000 dmg / hit NOTE! Str + Weapon = Attack! (Ex. 159 str + Conformer 96 = 255 Attack). (With Luck 255 Yuffie does Critical hits almost all the time caping att 9999 dmg / hit) You can get 255 Str by Using the Morph skill (Gotten in Disk 2) to fight "Unknown" (Pink colorful smiley guy) in the Sunken Gelnika (end Disk 2) With her Ultimate weapon "Conformer" she does about 5000 dmg to these monsters at Lv 65. You only Need 160 in Base Strength to get 255 Total strength and the Conformer boosts Attack to I found this by Editing Saves (Black Chocobo Save editor - "Cheat") By changing ALL stats One at the time. Yuffies Level and Strength where the only two factors that made any difference! Easily explained: Get Yuffie to Level 99 and give her 72 Power Source and the Conformer then Doom of the Living will do min. 75.000 damage!!! Same goes for (Max Attack 255): Cloud (Omnislash) Lv 99 + Ultima Weapon + 55 Power Source = 150.000 dmg (15 x 9999) Barret (Catastrophe) Lv 99 + Missin Score + 58 Power Source = 97.000 dmg (10 x 9750) Barret (Ongermax) Lv 99 + Missin Score + 58 Power Source =90-130.000 dmg (18 x 5-9999) Cid (High Wind) Lv 99 + Venus Gospel + 68 Power Source =90-130.000 dmg (18 x 5-9999) Yuffie (Conformer Lv 99 + Doom of the Living + 73 Power Source = 75-120.000 (15 x 5-9999) Damage is baesd against Enemy: Head Hunter (Lv 30, Def 60) Edit: Hero Drink Boost the Damage! (Not stats, so ex. Battets Angermax will do 18 x 9999 dmg with a 5 hero drinks but they are extremley rare and hard to get - "Ain't nobody got time for that!" Good Luck! ;)
