Sephiroth created supernova only to beat Cloud and still failed. Meanwhile a meteor the size of a city could destroy the planet. Summary : Cloud is stronger than the planet, he should just jump and one punch the meteor.

the final 1 on 1 is unlooseable. Even if you choose not to act, Sephiroth will deal only %-damage, and Cloud will automatically Counter; with Sephiroth having technically only 1 HP here.

If you're talking about the actual final boss fight, Safer Sephiroth, then yeah, its perfectly looseable, you don't even have to try. I lost to a couple of times my first playthrough, he's pretty challenging without being overlevelled or having the really powerful equipment/materia/limit breaks.

If you take out the whole sepiroth resurrection angle then advent children is basically a true ending of ff7 - you get to see everyone again, what they did with their lives and how the world was affected by the ending

I heard the move was simply an illusion and is not what actually happened otherwise why is the Sun still around after the fight and if Sephiroth can even do that the whole time why even need Meteor destroy one planet? Also most of the things that are orchestrated in this game is JENOVA who is the true villain of this game. Sephy is just the final boss. What Kefka achieved is his own doing and being an sadistic omnipotent clown god that does as he pleases even after he achieves his goal is still way more nefarious than a misguided test tube boy being led on by a mislabeled alien and his dad. But if you compare JENOVA and Kefka I say it's pretty even match.
