From what we know of thanks to the Ultimania, it is possible the Biggs that died is not the same one Zack was spending time with. It's just one world created by a choice Zack did. This is also evident with the different Stamp on the bag.

@@skiier04 I’d say you should play the OG FFVII, then CC, then Remake. How do you like playing Remake without playing the original? Because they make it clear Zack is a big deal in this one, but in OG, you hardly see him unless you do side content. Also the Whispers being around as arbiters of fate, i feel like they are there so OG fans get a monkey wrench thrown in the story

@@MFOnslaught I've loved it! Rebirth will likely be my GOTY. The Zach parts were a bit confusing at first, but I feel I mostly understand what I need to now. Think I'll def play the original and CC before the final part of the trilogy though!
