Final Fantasy VII Remake full opening movie reaction!!

i don't know how many people caught it, but i'm pretty sure that cliff is the same one from both the end of Crisis Core and the epilogue with Red XIII in the original. So hyped!

I think they handled the opening very intelligently. They added a little bit to modernize it, show off what they can do, and let us see the scale of the city and then tied it into a perfect recreation of the original opening while adding in ominous references to sephiroth.

I couldn't agree more. It's honestly perfect! It got me so hyped to explore Midgar!! They were definitely showing off what they've done and how big they've made the game! 😬 The excitement is reeaallll!

Completely agree. The foreshadowing is great and really well handeled. The directing itself is exceptional. The young girl looking up at the mako reactor (the view from behind her head) gives me chills every time I watch it. Very foreboding.

I still remember playing FFVII vividly when it first came out, I think I was 7 at the time and its still to this day my favorite FF game alongside 10 and 6. So much nostalgia, THE FEEEEEELS 😭😭🥺🥺

I dig the hype! Imagine being old enough to have been a young teen when the *original* FF7 came out, and already having been a fan of the FF series... that was the first game I ever paid ahead to reserve, which wasn't as common of a thing back then like it is now! I locked myself in my room for nearly a week straight to play it... so imagine how hyped people MY age are who have literally been waiting DECADES for this! And they made it worth it... they didn't screw it up! It's going to be life-changing!

It's literally some of my first memories of video games that I have! It's probably the reason I love video games so much, :) and I couldn't agree more the first one change the RPG genre and I think this remake will to!

Great reaction. I share your enthusiasm for this game so much. I'm going to try my best not to play through it too fast. I've been waiting for it for so long I really want to make the experience last a while. Looking forward to exploring every nook and cranny and doing all available side quests.
