I think realizing sethroith is effectively mind-time traveling and is actually from advent children set to change the course of "history" sells the plot ghosts. Then the added cryptic nods that somewhere along the way aeris knows that Sarrot top is doing the time heist really increases the intrigue and replayability. Despite the annoyance of the whispers, Sempiternal somehow manages to control fate in the advent children timeline, has the advent children fight you in the future then makes you destroy that future is absolutely nuts. the sometimes bad pacing is due to Aeris. To spend some time with her as a playable character they have had to make a couple of sections longer (Hojo´s lab and the Train cementery) because with how she enters the party later and then she gets kidnapped she would barely appear, only for Wall Market. Still best girl.
