I will always see these lyrics as breaking the 4th wall and directly talking about how to developers and fans should feel about the remake, in the same way that the announcement trailer's narrator's dialogue was written. It's the exact same message. The developers are commentating on how they know and are fully aware the game is not going to be perfect. They know it's not going to satisfy every single little expectation and desire and vision that every individual fan has had over the years. But even if it's flawed and not perfect, that doesn't mean it's not still a phenomenal and enjoyable experience. Things don't have to be perfect to still be fun and enjoyable. There's still good in between the bad. "Fireworks to light up your night sky" is referring to the hype of release day, the fans being so excited and happy to finally get the game and play it after so many years of waiting and wishing and hoping and imagining. It's a magical day where a dream has come true. "In a flash, life and love can go awry" is referring to how some things in the remake may be flawed and not be liked by some people and some people will be disappointed in things. "Let me take you higher, fulfill your desires" is obviously referring to the devs wanting to fulfill the fans' desires for not only getting the remake we were promised, but just more FF7 content in general. More time spent with these amazing characters in this amazing world. "What you see is what you get" Again very obvious how this is referring to the remake not being perfect for everyone but the developers still feel confident in what they put out. "Only passion, no regrets" "Only triumph, I've got nothing to hide" Is the devs saying they are confident and proud of the product they're releasing and they put passion into making it. "So sit back and enjoy the ride" Obviously referring to the fans and how everyone should enjoy the game even if it's not perfect and even if there are a few flaws here and there that people don't like, the majority of it should still be an enjoyable experience. Again, just my interpretation that I would love to believe.

We have ZERO details about her childhood, her family, etc. Honestly, I would like to know a bit more about her in this new version. Because I wouldn't want Scarlet to be just a 2-D villain without any depth at all (the same goes for the Deepground guys)...Even if Scarlet is evil, I want to understand why she is the way she is. I mean, if they even bothered to make a freaking song about that character, one would think that they are going to give her a littler bit more emphasis than they did before.

Good sound quality and and great camera angle! Have been observing Tifa's expression and noticed that she has been showing concerned expression - Not when she's directly looking at him but when facing slight towards him and seems to be in deep thought 1:18. Sometimes she seems like she wanna say something but decided to keep those words to herself. If those are animated on purpose, I would be even more impressed. But there are some moments that she seemed to have murderous intent towards Cloud LOL. But still Character design, environmental work and the music are marvelous. Thanks for the upload!

Beautiful. Art. It's hard to describe everything, but if I were to put what this game is in mere words it would be those two. When I played the classic I was just a teenager and always wondered how the game would look like with Advent Children's graphic. And boy, I got this as an adult. Anyone else get strong Rapture (before the fall) vibes from this song and from Chapter 16 as a whole? Bioshock created one of the most atmospheric game settings in history with Rapture, so comparing Chapter 16 (and really the whole remake) to it is a huge compliment to the remake. Yes, Bioshock was likely influenced in part by the original Final Fantasy VII, as it’s one of the most influential games in history, but as memorable as Midgar and Gaia were in 1997, you could just create a far more immersive experience in 2007 with Bioshock. And FFVII Remake mixes the best of both and comes out with a masterpiece in its own right...whether it will have the historical staying power/influence of FFVII and Bioshock is impossible to say before we play through the entire story, but this was a helluva strong start. TL;DR: This song is amazing, this level is unforgettable, and this game just drips with atmosphere like Bioshock.

This song is kind of perfect analogy for Scarlet in a sense that: Scarlett is beautiful but shes also bat shit crazy and would make modern day eugenicists blush with her genocidal tenancies. The music reflects this in some of the higher notes the singer hits, they are seemingly off key, too loud, and maybe a bit off-beat. The vocals oscillate between jazzy cool and obnoxiously boisterous. She's just a beautiful train-wreck waiting to happen, the song even sounds like a billionaire debutante tried writing/performing her own lounge room solo and it comes off as super pretentious. Granted shes fine as hell, and makes it sound good most of the song, but there are hints of insanity on the borders. When you hear this song in the Context of knowing it's Scarlet's theme: it is pure illusions of grandeur, materialistic, objectifying, and incredibly sexy all at once..... What a great addition to the remake!

This was so amazing. I was in awe of it. The amazing looking office. This music hit so hard. I slowly walked around enjoying everything in the Shinra HQ. And the museum was fantastic. The immersive video about the earth life force. Stunning... even the boss fights in HQ were awesome! In wall market I slowly walked around listening to the NPCs dialogue. Outstanding. People still hold onto the early entries but this one is my favourite. The combat imo is better than turn based. Obvious the graphics. Just listening to this song again takes me back haha.
