Final Fantasy VIII w/HD Mods (PC/Steam) - ...All Existence Denied.

Again, another video I won't be doing again for a long while after this. Main reason for this? I wanted a more "serious" battle. And if you look at the older videos, you'll see what I fixed with Project AngelWing. Also want to point out that I'm experimenting with boss textures and trying to add more depth to them. Which you can see in this video and the last. :) Next update to that will be soon. So, now... Battle time. Though, again, this technically isn't my data. So we're in for fun times! One video left.

Ultimecia, no. Eden, maybe? There's a woman encased in Eden's lower body if you look at full-res artwork (FF wiki.) It's my belief that Eden is an entity that represents the Garden of the Future SeeDs. Think of it as the Garden's energy source AND "gardenmaster." But why is it Rinoa? My theory is that it comes from a future where Rinoa remained entombed in Esthar and was harnessed as the core of a Grden founded by them/the White SeeDs as a weapon against Ultimecia. How it ended up in the "possession" of an ancient creature or Ultimecia's servant? Fuck if I know. Time kompression?

hello, i'm using the mods and the game slows down to a crawl(4 fps or sth) during these animations: Rinoa Wishing star, Eden summon, Griever Great Attractor(during the animation and before it when he's start shaking) and finally this part kzbin.info/www/bejne/i6aQepyueM-baZY. May I ask which mod causing it and how to fix? Thank you.

phuong hoang Its not the mods causing this. It's the game. Depending on your computer and resolution this can happen any time the game uses the blur effect.

oh, what a shame. Everything else run perfectly fine. I run these mods with reshade and it looks absolutely gorgeous. Feels like a completely new game even though i play this game since its debut. Anyway, is there any new mod coming? I noticed your Meltdown magic effect look a bit different.

I have another question to ask. My Squall texture keep switching back and forth on the world map. I use Rebirth Flame 1.2(Devina texture). I'm fine with the world map texture keep switching but character switching is extremely annoying for me. Here's the image: imgur.com/a/OgetQ

I might know what the problem is... I'd go in the "ve" folder in "textures" and see which Squall is being used. If they all aren't Devina's then just change it to the one that is.

William Hazelwood Jecht is even easier than her. The only hard boss in that game is Seymour and the guy you fight right before Yunalesca.

takigan I didn't create the textures... ^_^; Mago does have an eye for detail, though. But admittedly, I did try to transfer those details onto her low poly model. Haha.

I really dislike Ultimecias Dialogue in english... the Japanese/german Dialogue sounds infintely better and makes more sense. That said, that doesn't say anything about these mods! Those look just sooooooooooooo great x3 Tough I miss the light in her face at the final Phase. A glitch caused by the mod? Or made on purpose?

NeroDeAngelo Not sure what her dialogue is in those versions. As for the light... It's the mod and it's lack of animation. I found I could get let that slide, but not the space/time being absorbed by her. So that's the only part not upscaled as it's too jarring.

Why do you wait so long in-between attacks while boss is attacking?

Jo Pr Few reasons. One, I don't want to murder them outright or certain animations/attacks won't be seen. Two, Ultimecia might use Ultima or Meteor to kill me after Hell's Judgment so I don't like rushing in too blindly.

i just hope youved junctioned the “ Recover “ ability to Rinoa or to whoever who has Leviathan junctioned to..that way you wont need to use much of your magic esp if those magic are junctioned to your character
